As a sex worker, I receive a lot of weird requests. Some fetishes I didn’t even know existed. I specialise in more of a ‘girlfriend experience’ type of service. While my clients are rather ‘tame’ compared to those of dominatrix workers, I still get the an odd request from time to time. I also want to mention that I am by no means fetish shaming and I apologise in advance if this blog is perceived that way. I am grateful to be in an industry where people can feel comfortable to open up about their fantasies, no matter how outlandish they are. This blog is purely for curiosity and enjoyment.
I am honestly fascinated by how people’s minds work. Given my favourite movies are Mulholland Drive, A Beautiful Mind and Shutter Island- you can probably see where I’m coming from. I’ve delved into a bit of the psychological interpretation behind each fetish. I am by no means a trained psychologist, just an enthusiast- so keep that in mind!
Ball Busting
Yes, you heard that correctly. I’m sure many of you are wincing at the thought of accidentally being kicked in the balls, but some men pay women to do this. Like… a hard kick. And it’s more common than you think. I probably get asked about once a month, yet I’ve never been able to bring myself to do it (although I can think of a few guys in my personal life I would enjoy doing this to for free!)
It’s not uncommon for humans to indulge in pain. The technical term is ‘Benign Masochism’, which is the enjoyment of negative sensations and emotions when people are reassured that no harm will come to them. The mechanism behind why some men enjoy ball kicking is the same for why we enjoy roller coasters and eating chilli. According to this article by the BBC: “The link between pleasure and pain is deeply rooted in our biology. All pain causes the central nervous system to release endorphins – proteins which act to block pain and work in a similar way to opiates such as morphine to induce feelings of euphoria.” So basically these guys are getting their dose of morphine, without the needles.
'Please, Shit On My Face'
I believe the technical term is ‘scat play’ but yes, this is a fetish. I have only been asked this once and again, didn’t go through with it. I actually believed it was a prank until I heard this podcast interview by Zoe Marshall. The interview was with a mistress who uncovers how common this fetish is in the dominatrix world (among other strange fetishes). I would highly recommend listening to this podcast if you’re curious as to what goes on in the world of a dominatrix. There are many theories as to how this fetish develops.
One such is by imagining you grow up somewhere where you have very little privacy, such as a shared room with a sibling or at boarding school.
As you start to discover masturbation, it’s difficult to find a place with privacy to attend to the urges. But there is one place. The toilet! Many people masturbate on the toilet, often just before or after they used the toilet. So it’s possible to be accidentally conditioned to subconsciously connect going to the toilet in order to poop and going to the toilet in order to masturbate. At some point you might notice that pooping turns you on because your brain associates it with the pleasure hormones of masturbating. I’m sure there are many more complexities around developing this fetish, but I thought this one was quite interesting.
