It’s been a while since I’ve last posted a blog. As many of you who have been following me may know, last year I was having a bit of an existential crisis which I have kind of sorted through. I actually wrote a blog about it here.
Long story short- I was on a pretty well-paved path in life: a high achieving student with a secure and well paid professional job. I left this job because quite frankly- I hated it and kind of never went back into that industry. I had been introduced to escorting through university but I always considered it a ‘temporary’ source of income; a fallback. After leaving this job I hated, I had only planned to do this for a few months until I found something better in my field. The irony was that escorting provided me with more happiness than any professional job ever did. I felt respected and valued (unlike the misconceptions you generally hear about the industry). Of course, I also love the flexibility that this job gave me too.
Last year I decided to take a leap into a totally new industry, but a skill I had been honing for a decade: photography. Of course, I love being Jasmine and don’t plan on leaving this industry any time soon but one of the challenges I have faced has been to find a balance between the two.
I have some business growth goals for 2025 which mean that I’ll be working even harder on that balance!
I have been super slack with the blogs as well- I actually have been writing a ton of them for my other websites (turns out content writing is great for SEO, which is good for me because I love writing- two birds!) I know how much you guys love following the blogs so I am aiming to get back into regular writing next year. Unfortunately my screening has become a bit good these days and I’m mainly seeing regulars, so I haven’t had many weird client stories to tell which are usually your favourite blogs (although at the detriment of me having to experience bad bookings haha).
I should try to be more active on socials this year. I haven’t really been using Twitter that much because my feed is either gross amateur porn or political bullshit. Instagram is kind of boring these days too and mainly just ads. I think social media in general has really deteriorated over the last few years since it’s all become monetised and everyone’s trying to sell you something. I guess this is why I don’t use it much anymore. Or maybe I’m just getting old and out of touch!
Anyway enough from me. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year!
Love yas!
